I'm an author. My first book, Descendants of Humanity, is coming out in the next several weeks. But this website is not only about my book(s). I'm hoping to make it a resource for people looking to find purpose in their careers. To those asking "whattttt," yes, it does sound odd doesn't it? Those things are not related, are they? Yeah, they are. How? It's a little complicated. Stick with me and you'll understand. Possibly.
First, Descendants of Humanity is NOT about careers, believe me. It's a science fiction post-apocalyptic thriller. It's also the first book in a duology. Here's a small summary: A New Race Rules Earth and They Are Brutal More beautiful than we ever were, they are like gods. Strong. Fierce. Savage. How can a lone young woman survive against the brutality? Can humanity itself find a way back? Shanice is one of the few humans left on the planet. But she may not be for long. She can hear the crowd screaming for death. Soon the gate to the arena will open, and she’ll face a man who must kill her or be killed. Shanice is trapped in a horror world ruled by a more “perfect” race and has no idea how the world got like this. Survival is her only focus. If only she knew that in that screaming throng around her is a man who wants to see her live. He just may hold the key to rocking all the world and giving humanity the chance to find a way back. Descendants of Humanity is a post-apocalyptic thriller set in a future where planet earth is no longer the province of homo sapiens. Soon I'll be giving away Advanced Reader Copies. I'll provide details in the next few days. About me: A confession: I'm a racist. Yes. I'm biased and prejudiced in favor of the Human Race. And I'm against people who have their selfish interests in mind at the sacrifice of that race. The greatest threat to humanity is, well, members of humanity. My desire is to see humans thrive, to see us reach our potential. Guess what? We've not even close. The tie-in between the book and making this website a resource? It's loose, yes. But you'll be able to pick it up. Check back. I'll give you more details.
